Come visit us in the Heart of Appalachia Region as we kick off our “50 Years of LOVE”!  Our pre-kick off celebration will begin with the official unveiling of our new LOVEworks sign at the Dickenson County Chamber/Visitor Center in the Town of Clintwood on Friday, May 17th.  Join us at the Dr. Ralph Stanley’s 49th Annual Hills of Home Bluegrass Festival beginning on May 23-25that McClure, Virginia and the Annual Breaks Interstate Park “Jubilee in the Park” on May 25th& 26th.  We will be promoting the “50 Years of Love” throughout Dickenson County as well as Wise County and Kentucky.  The Businesses will  join in our celebration with a Sparkling Red Wine from Mountain Rose Vineyards displaying the “50 Years of Love” label and a Sip and Paint Class will be held on June 10that Mountain Rose Vineyard in Wise, Virginia.  We will be offering a dessert at the Breaks Park, a drink at Ridgeview Deli and Wolfpack Den and a beautiful love flower arrangement at Back Porch Treasures all dedicated to the “50 Years of Love”.    We will be doing special events at the Jettie Baker Center and the Ralph Stanley Museum in Clintwood, plus special tours on the Haysi Ridgeview ATV Trail.  The Flannagan Marina and Powersports will be doing a day dedicated to the 50 Years of love at the Marina and a float in the annual Clintwood 4thof July parade will showcase the 50 Years of Love theme.  Stop by the LOVEworks signs at the Breaks Interstate Park and the Dickenson County Chamber/Visitor Center; snap a selfie in front of the LOVE signs to enter a photo contest telling us what you LOVE about Dickenson County or our region.  The grand prize will be a 2-night stay at one of the Lake front cabins and two tickets to the Canyon Rim Zip line at the Breaks Park.
